Campus-wide WiFi for a school

The challenge

Existing coverage was a handful of consumer routers. Classrooms at the far end of the building had none, and everyone — students, staff and visitors — shared one password.

What we built

A full site survey established access point placement for capacity, not just signal: a classroom of 40 devices needs a different layout from a corridor.

Three isolated networks were configured — student, staff and guest — with content filtering on the student network and bandwidth limits per device.

The outcome

Coverage across every teaching space and the outdoor areas, with staff traffic protected from student load. Guest access no longer requires sharing the staff password.
