What's included

Capabilities in this service

24/7 monitoring

Automated checks on every critical device and link.

Tested backups

Restores are actually performed, not just scheduled.

Scheduled patching

Updates applied in maintenance windows, tested before production.

Named engineer

Someone who knows your site, not whoever picks up.

Asset register

Every device tracked with warranty and end-of-life dates.

Quarterly review

A written report on incidents, capacity and what to plan for.

Support that knows your setup

Most support contracts fail for the same reason: whoever answers the phone has never seen your environment. Because we design, build and install the systems we support, the person picking up already knows how yours is wired.

What managed support covers

Monitoring. Servers, network hardware, connectivity and backups are checked continuously. Most of what we fix, we notice before anyone reports it.

Helpdesk. A single address and number for your staff. Tickets are logged, tracked and closed with a written explanation of what was wrong.

Patching and updates. Operating systems, firmware and the applications we maintain — applied on a schedule, tested, and outside working hours where a restart is required.

Backups, verified. A backup nobody has restored from is a hope, not a backup. We run restore tests on a schedule and report the results.

Account lifecycle. Staff joining, moving or leaving — provisioned and, more importantly, de-provisioned properly. Ex-employee accounts left live are one of the most common security holes we find.

Response times

Severity What it means We respond within
Critical Business stopped — no connectivity, server down, site offline 1 hour
High A team or key function blocked 4 working hours
Normal Individual issue, workaround exists 1 working day
Scheduled Changes, new equipment, onboarding By arrangement

Taking over an existing setup

We are happy to adopt systems somebody else built. The first step is an audit: what is running, how it is configured, what is unsupported, what is exposed. You get that findings document whether or not you go on to sign anything — it is useful on its own.

Pricing

Support is billed monthly per site, based on the number of users and devices covered. There is no charge for logging a ticket, and no premium for calling during an incident. Ad-hoc work is available at an hourly rate for companies not on a contract.

How we run this engagement

1

Discovery

We visit or call, look at what you already have, and write down what you actually need — not what's easiest to sell.

2

Scope & quote

A written scope and an itemised quote. Nothing is ordered until you've signed off on both.

3–7 days

Development, staging, bench-configuration of hardware. You see progress before anything touches your live environment.

2–10 weeks

4

Deploy & test

Installation, commissioning and testing against the agreed scope — with you present for sign-off.

1–2 weeks

5

Handover & support
