Mid-level Django Developer

Build and maintain the line-of-business systems our clients run on. You'll own features end to end, from talking to the client to deploying.

We’re a small team, so you’ll work across the whole stack rather than on one narrow slice. You’ll speak to clients directly, translate what they describe into something buildable, and stay with it through deployment and support.

This suits someone who wants ownership and is comfortable being the person who decides how something works.

What you'll do

Build features in Django from requirement through to deployment
Talk to clients directly about what they need
Review other engineers’ code and have yours reviewed
Write the documentation that ships with a handover
Take part in the support rotation for systems you built

What we're looking for

3+ years building web applications, ideally with Django
Solid SQL and relational data modelling
Comfortable on a Linux server without a GUI
Able to explain a technical trade-off to a non-technical client
Version control discipline

Nice to have

Experience with Docker and CI pipelines
Front-end skills beyond the basics
Exposure to networking or hardware integration
Anything you’ve built and shipped yourself
